I cried -
Because you are out of reach now
Any chances we might have had
Flew out the window, lost forever
And I feel so bad

I cried -
Because even if I pretend to be courageous enough
To risk everything dear to me
Just to be near you
Life itself won't permit me

I cried -
Because of all the things you said
And all the things you've done to me
Your words left me deeply wounded
My soul will be forever scarred

I cried -
Because one thing
Keeps bugging my mind
The pain I feel and the tears that fall
Were you ever worth them at all?
